On the Law-abiding Morality

守法是法治社会的基础。守法是一种法定的义务和道德要求。表现为遵守法律的行为,而从内在的角度看,守法更重要的表现为一种守法的精神。在现代法治社会,守法道德既表现为对法定义务的恪守,又同时是对自己合法权利的积极主张。

Abiding the law is the basis of the society administered by the law. Keeping the law is a legal obligation and moral requirement which manifests as the law-abiding action. From the internal perspective, abiding the law manifests as a law-keeping spirit. In the modern society administered by the law, the law-abiding morality manifests as scrupulously abiding by the legal obligation. At the same time, it is also an active view on his legitimate rights.
