This paper analyzes the various limits on women because of their lack of formal education and its influence on their marriage, family life and career. It lays bare the conflicts between the heroine＇s great ambitions and the inadequate options available to them. Though they struggle hard to push themselves into the society, they have to return to＇ the traditional role—wifehood in the end.
