in this paper, two equally effective explanations for the energy-liberating mechanism of Quasars are described in the context of the 'Membrane Formalism of Black Holes' proposed by Macdonald and Thorne. One explanation is given by invoking magnetic field analysis, another by invoking circuit analysis. Both explanations are intuitive and have obvious physical meanings. The circuit analysis method is especially suited to explaining the complex phenomena involving cosmic plasma.
