Oligoesters were prepared by the reaction of adipic acid with dibasic alcohols, such as glycol, propanedio1-1, 2, diglycol and triglycol. The oligoesters reacted with hexamethylene-diisocyanate and glycol acrylate to give photocurable oligoester acrylourethane resins. The resins were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and1H NMR spectra. These resins are in the solid state or semi-solid state with specific gravity d ̄20_41. 18, bulk viscosity (at 38℃) 28500 MPa · s, pH=5. 5, content of hydroxyl group 0. 3% , photocuring speed<0. 3 s, excellent gloss and levelling. They are used as a main component of printing ink.
