自20世纪90年代以来,中国社会在发生深刻变化。一方面,伴随着国际上苏联解体、东欧巨变之后的两极格局的终结以及国内市场经济的发展和社会的深入转型,中国原有的意识形态体系受到了挑战;另一方面,中国的民族主义思潮开始以一种独立的话语姿态出现在学术界,且伴随着一次次民族主义运动,对社会生活的诸多方面发生着影响。作为一种特殊的社会思潮,中国的民族主义的产生和发展有其特殊的历史背景,对同时期社会意识形态的缺失有一定的弥合功能,但也隐含着种种不确定性。如何正确认识当代中国民族主义意识形态功能,对于我国民族主义的发展及意识形态的重建有一定的理论和实践意义。

Thus, it is of both theoretical and practical significance for us to correctly understand the ideology function of modem Chinese nationalism so as to develop our nationalism and rebuild the ideology.
