The Milk Protection of Ewes Infected with Eperythrozoon ovis for Lambs

给初生并吸吮感染绵羊附红细胞体(E.ovis)母羊乳汁的羔羊注射含有大量E.ovis的肝素抗凝的血液,直到羔羊断奶,结果羔羊体内的E.ovis或被杀灭或未出现明显的感染。试验证明,除了乳汁外羔羊不能获得对E.ovis感染的抵抗力。

After new-born lambs sucking in milk of ewes infected with Eperythrozoon ovis were injected with heparin thrombo-resistance blood containing E. ovis, the E. ovis in the lamb bodies was either sterilized or suppressed till the lambs were weaned. The conclusion could be drawn that lambs got the resistance against E. ovis only from the milk.
