中西人文精神的源起、演变与融合

The Origin,Change and Integration of Humane Spirit in China and the West

人文精神是中西文化“人文”思想的结晶。在不同文化的孕育下,中华人文精神体现为伦理型的、自然与宗教融合、“人”“文”互动、社会人格等特质;西方人文精神则体现为自然型的、自然与宗教抗衡、“人”“文”割裂、个体人格等特质。在全球化时代,中西人文精神自然呈现融合趋势,具体表现为两个方面:一是在理论研究中,注重“人”与“文”的契合,“精神”和“思想”的契合;一是在文化实践中,倡导个体人格与社会人格的融合,当下追求与终极关怀的融合。

Humane spirit is the crystallization of humane thinking in Chinese and western culture. Different cultures gave birth to different humane spirits. The features of Chinese humane spirit are ethical, integration of nature and religion, interlinkage of human and culture, social personality. The features of western humane spirit are natural, antagonism of nature and religion, separation of human and cuhure, individual personality. In the global age, humane spirit of China and the West should integrate naturally. In academic research, they should think much of integrating human and culture, spirit and thought. In cultural construction, we should initiate integrating social personality with individual personality, realistic pursuit and ultimate concern.
