针对渐开线函数,即齿轮啮合角α的计算,介绍了用牛顿迭代法及Visual Basic编程进行计算的方法。解决了传统查表及插值法的繁琐工作,可以迅速、准确地计算出结果,大大减少了手工劳动,提高了工作效率。

Calculates filar involute function, namely the mesh angle （α） of the gears, introduced Newton iteration method and procedure calculating method in Visual Basic language. It solved the trouble of using the interpolation and table lookup scheme, and it can figure out the result rapidly and accurately, reduced the handwork greatly and improve working efficiency.
