Herbart is a famous edueationist of Germany. He was also considered to be the representative of traditional education and had received the severe attack for that at the same time. However, a lot of bad methods in traditional education were exactly which Herbert went all out against in fact. Moreover many of his views on education still have very high instruction value to today＇ s practice of education.
