摘要
为了保证视频质量,可以采用前向纠错编码(FEC)来提高视频数据传输的可靠性。Reed-Solomon(RS)码是一种重要的纠错码,它对随机性和突发性错误有极强的纠错能力,广泛应用于数字视频广播(DVB)系统和其他数字通信领域。设计了基于MPEG-4视频编码的RS纠错码实验,它可应用于公共交换电话网(PSTN)或DVB系统的视频通信。
For guaranteeing video quality, FEC （Forward Error Correction） can be adopted to improve the reliability of video data transmission. Reed-Solomon（RS） code is a kind of important error correcting code, and it is capable of correcting stochastic and gusty errors, so it is widely used in DVB（ Digital Video Broadcasting） systems and other fields Of digital communication. A RS error correction experiment based on MPEG-4 video encoding is presented. It can be applied in video communication of Public Switched Telephone Network（PSTN）.
