H.264在分层网络视频监控系统中的应用研究

Design and Complementation of Hierarchical Network Surveillance System Based on H.264

随着数字图像压缩技术的发展,数字监控系统的应用已经成熟,基于数字图像压缩技术的视频监控系统得到了广泛应用。而数字监控系统也随着图像压缩技术的发展在更新换代,H.264是一种新近成熟的、高效的视频压缩标准,它有着比以往压缩标准压缩效率更高,更能适应网络的特点。在深入分析了H.264视频压缩技术的基础上,设计和实现了一套实用的分层网络视频监控系统。

With the rapid development of digital video compression technology and theories, network surveillance system are widely applied to our lives. H. 264 is an advanced video coding standard developed by JVT（Joint Video Team） and adopted as part 10 of MPEG-4 , it provide significantly better compression performance and improve support for reliable transform. This paper first gives a deep investigation on H. 264 standard, and then illustrate the design and implementation of a hierarchical network surveillance system based on H. 264.
