In this article, the authors introduce the advanced theories of modern logistics industry in foreign countries, such as the USA and Japan, including views, management methods and successful cases. Based on the analysis of the current problems, gaps and the characters of economy in Northeast of China, several countermeasures are presented in order to explore the practical path and tactics for modern logistics industry growth in Northeast of China.
