A Second Thought of Caoyan as the Ancient Center of Salt Collecting and Distributing

随着近几年海盐文化研究的逐步深入,我们对草堰古盐运集散地的历史文化定位的重要意义有了更多认识,于是对草堰再次进行全面调查,对现有历史文化遗存从认识上作新的整合,着力探讨该历史文化保护区的主体文化内涵及其存在形式,以求为科学的保护利用提供对策。

Further understandings on the significance of historically cultural status of Caoyan as the ancient center of salt collecting and distributing have been reached on the basis of progressive study of sea salt culture in recent years. Hence, overall investigations into Caoyan have been made once again and theoretical integration towards existing historically cultural remains has been formed. We make an intensive study of cultural connotation and form of this historically cultural reserve in order to Frovide scientific ways for the purpose of protection and utilization.
