摘要
弗吉尼亚.伍尔夫是女性主义文学批评的先驱,她的女权主义文学观是西方女性主义文学批评话语的出发点。《新装》这部短篇小说运用象征手段揭示了关注女性写作状态,争取女性创作空间的主题。
Virginia Woolf is the forerunner of feminist literary criticism. Her feminism sets the starting point for the theory of modern western feminist literary criticism. The short story New Dress employs a lot of images to present the theme of concerning the current situation of women writing and striving for space for women writing. This article interpret the implications of various images in the short story to illustrate the opposition between men and women, oppression of men to women and the outlet for women artists presented in the short story.
