开展城市地质环境评价势在必行；地矿部门因具有政策、资料、人才优势，因此大有用武之地。地质环境监测是城市地质环境评价的依据，应继续抓紧抓好。
eveloping the evaluation of Urban geological enironment is imperative; Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources has a advantage in policy,meterial and qualified scientists and technicians, so it is well worth doing this work. The monitoring of geological environment is the basis of the evaluation of urban geological environment,and should be paid close attention continuously.
