从中国古代哲学的“理-势”观念出发,对全球化应采取“理势兼顾”的态度,在参与中发挥东方的力量,促使其向更合理的方向发展。在文化关系方面,必须一改西方中心的文化理解,发扬中国的“和而不同”思想,确立“多元普遍性”的观念,以作为处理文化关系与文明对话的基本原则。

As for cultural relations, the West - biased cul- tural conceptions must be corrected. In the contemporary, era of globalization, the Chinese ideology of ＂harmony in diversity＂ should be developed and the idea of ＂multi - universality＂ be established as the fundamental principle of cultural relations and dialogues between civilizations.
