双线条视野下清末图书馆观念的萌生与发展

The Birth and Development of the Ideas of Modern Libraries in Late Qing Dynasty in the Eyesight of Double Lines

清末是中国近代图书馆事业的肇始期,随着对西方公共图书馆理念了解的逐步深入,设立公共图书馆成为各政治派别和学界的共同目标,图书馆实践活动也蓬勃发展;另一方面,由于西方书籍大量进入中国,中国典籍大量流失海外,如何保存新出现的书籍和本国典籍,也使得建立大型公共图书馆成为当务之急。清末的图书馆观念就在这样的双重背景下迅速发展起来。

The Late Qing Dynasty is the beginning period of Chinese library. With more survey of public libraries in Western countries, it becomes a common goal for many political and academic communities;meanwhile, with great imputing of Western books, many Chinese books are lost, how to reserve newly coming and traditional books make it necessary to found a large-sized public library. Hence, these two reasons develop the idea of library in the Late Qing Dynasty.
