Application of ROTEC equipments in Three Gorges projeet longitudinal cofferdam concrete placement

三峡工程主体混凝土总量约2700万m3。为确保一流的工程质量，引进和应用国际上先进的混凝土施工技术和设备是十分重要的。考虑到混凝土纵向围堰施工将为大坝摸索施工经验，三峡总公司于1995年由美国罗泰克公司引进了成套混凝土输送设备，包括：塔带机、胎带机、螺旋给料斗和混凝土运输车。该设备可从三方面同时供料，理论输送能力253．62m3／h，但由于多种原因，实际输送能力仅185．79m3／h。用于输送VC值较小的混凝土时不易产生分离，不失为一种浇筑强度高、运用灵活的新型设备。

The total concrete work of the Three Gorges Project will amount 27, 000,000 m3. In order to guarantee high con struction quality,the advanced construction equipments in the world should be used. For accumulating experience from the con struction of the concrete longitudinal cofferdam,China Changjiang Three Gorges Project Development Corporation imported a set of concrete transport equipments from ROTEC company, U. S. A. These equipments include the following: tower - belt crane, tyre-mounted tower crane,screw conveyer bucket and concrete transport car. This set of equipments can convey materi al simultaneously from three sources. The theoretical conveying capacity is 253. 62 m3/h,but for some reasons,the actul convey ing capacity achieved only 185. 79 m3/h. lt is not easy to cause separation of aggregates during conveying low vlscosity concrete,so ROTEC can be considered as a kind of high placing intensity,easy for manipulating,new type equipments.
