外资与湖北经济增长的实证分析

The Empirical Study on the Correlation of Foreign Capital and Economic Growth in Hubei Province

投资是经济增长的动力,外资投入对经济增长的作用显得尤其重要。改革开放以来,湖北的经济取得了巨大的发展,但是长期以来,其外资利用不足,这正是导致其经济发展缓慢的重要因素,对湖北的经济增长与外资投入进行计量分析,外资投入对湖北经济增长作用甚微,从而提出积极吸引外资的相应策略。

Investment is one of the impetuses of economic growth. And the foreign capital is especially important to the economic growth. The economy in HuBei province has developed fantastically ever since China carried out the policy of reform and opening - up. But its foreign capital was not enough for a long time, which was one of the factors leading to its relatively slow deve]6pment. The paper makes an econometric analysis about the correlation of foreign capital and economic growth in HuBei province. From the historical data, it can be concluded that foreign capital plays little role in the economic growth, in Hubei province. Then the author puts forward some suggestions concerning how to attract foreign investment.
