An Analysis of the Features and Values of Maslow's Theory of Self-actualization

自我实现理论是马斯洛人本主义心理学的核心思想。本文对马斯洛自我实现理论进行了概括,并从价值哲学的角度进行了分析。在此基础上指出自我实现不是人的机体所固有的自然性,作为一种价值追求,自我实现是人的主体性实现的一种方式,本质上是人的能动的社会化的成长过程,是人的自身潜能和价值、理想目标的实现,是人对自身能力的肯定和对现实自我的超越。

The Theory of Self - actualization is the core thoughts in Maslow＇ s Humanistic psychology. The paper generalizes Maslow＇ s Theory of Self - actualization and then analyzes the theory from the philosophic perspective of values. Accordingly, the paper argues that the self - actualization, as a means to pursue value, is not the human intrinsic natual chracterisctics but a means to realize human subjectivity. In nature, it is the dynamic socialization of humans, the realization of human potentials, values and ideals and the affirmation of human abilities and transcendation of the real self.
