Reflections on Korea's Successful Application for World Cultural Heritage and Personal Perspectives on Chinese Culture in College English Teaching

大学英语教学中,语言与文化之间的紧密联系越来越受到关注。在各类新版本的大学英语教材中,目标语文化知识的输入弥补和丰富了以往教材的不足。然而,文化的输入不应是单方面的,学外语的目的之一应该是对外传播我们的本民族文化。本文从大学英语教学方面对此问题进行了探讨。

Greater attention is paid to the association between language and Culture. in the present college English teaching. In various kinds of new college English textbooks, the imput of cultural knowledge of target language is more creatively designed than those previous ones. But cross - cultural communication involves both English culture and Chinese culture. One of our aims of learning English is to spread Chinese culture, so it should be of interaction. This paper gives some personal perspectives on Chinese culture in College English teaching.
