Vantage point plays an important role in our cognitive activities; it determines what we can see with the respect to the evoked entity and then the meaning of our conception. Men usually observe things around them by shifting of their vantage point. Papers on this point are not seen yet; even Langacker himself didn＇t go further on it after he put forward this concept. This paper tries to use the theory to analyze tense and aspect of English verb, finding that it is useful and can be applied to English teaching.
