浅论科学家在科技发展中的责任

A Preliminary Study of Scientists' Responsibility in the Development of Science and Technology

科学家的社会角色在得到社会的广泛认同以后,科学家的科学活动基本上就从以下两个方面担负起造福人类的重任:一是把科学当作一种精神追求并成为“最有希望的物质福利的源泉”;二是思考科学对社会的政治、经济、军事等其他一切方面的影响,从而从更深远的意义上来敦促科学应当正当地应用于社会建设。虽然在社会发展的不同历史时期,科学家在这两方面的责任,其表现内容和方式有着极大的不同,但科学与社会发展的事实表明,科学家的双重身份越来越强化了。

After scientists＇ social role was recognized widely by society, their scientific activities have taken onthe responsibility of benefiting human being in two aspects： first, they see science as a spirit aim and as ＂a most hope-ful material benefits source＂; second, they consider science＇s impact on social politics, economy, military and so on, sothat science can be used justly to social construction. These two responsibilities are different in different periods, butthe development of science and society has indicated that scientists＇ double roles are strengthened.
