The article introduced the successful experience of second start after small repairing of 200KA pre - baking aluminium reduction cell. Detailed statement of the scheme on leakage of No. 528 cell, cell digging and small repairing and the whole process of no anode effects start - up and applying the coke grain for baking in the second start - up are emphasized. It is proved that, as a feasible plan, the second start - up after the small repairing will be a very good method for the partly damaged and leaking cell, which has the important significance to extending the pot life and reduce the overhaul cost.
