Calculation of bearing capacity about the strip foundation based on the twin shear unified strength theory

基于双剪统一强度理论和弹性理论的平面应变假设,对条形地基的承载力计算方法进行探讨。推导出了条形受荷地基承载力的计算公式,并对基于双剪统一强度准则与Mohr-Cou lomb准则的地基承载力计算结果进行对比分析,研究成果对合理确定地基承载力具有重要的理论意义与实用价值。

Based on the twin shear unified strength theory and the plane-strain hypothesis in the theory of elasticity, a method for computing the bearing capacity of strip foundation is proposed. The equations given in the paper are intended for calculation of the bearing capacity of strip foundations, and the numerical results are compared against those based on the Mohr-Coulomb criterion on the twin shear unified strength theory. The findings obtained in the present study have important theoretical implications and practical values for calculating the bearing capacity of sub-grade soils with reasonable accuracy.
