摘要
中国作为一个发展中国家,要走在世界前列,必须获得现代性。实事求是是中国成功实现现代化转型的根本方法。在中国现代语境中,实事求是指的是追求现代性必须从中国所处的实际发展阶段出发;引进西方现代文明必须考虑中国传统文化背景;现代化转型的理论模式必须经得起中国实践检验。
Modern civilization,which has created unprecedented material wealth for West capitalism, is the most advanced civilization in today＇s world. For China, as a developing country, to go ahead of the others, it must get modernity. Seeking truth from facts is the fundamental method that helps China successfully carry out modernization. In modern language circumstance of China, seeking truth from facts means that pursuit of modernity must set out from real developing stage of China, introduction of West modern civilization must be based on traditional cultural background of China, and the theoretical mode of modernization must withstand the test of Chinese practice.
