Domestic violence is closely linked with cultural stereotypes and inequalities in allocation of fights within marital relationships. Fortunately, thanks to women＇s movements, the world begins to change. In the United States, the voices and actions against domestic violence are high and are increasing and have created more ways for women who experience domestic violence to seek help. People in different walks of life started to pay attention to domestic violence and their voices have added to the women＇s movement to protect women rights and interests. The government has also recognized the seriousness of domestic violence and adopted legislation to punish those perpetrators so as to protect women＇s lawful rights.
