The formation of database is the foundation or develoing information system,the analysis and research of hazard need the support of information system.The paper simply states general methods of research on volcanic hazard,proposes a basic framework for the formation of volcanic hazard detabase of the Chanbaishan Volcano and discusses its potential application.
