THE YUANMING PARK EARTHQUAKE IN BEIJING IN 1730

１７３０年北京圆明园地震，是北京城郊较大的一次地震，也是我国历史地震中资料最为丰富的地震之一。这些资料对研究北京的抗震防灾，社会地震学和历史地震都有较高的史料价值。当时的清朝政府对这次地震进行了详细的调查，留下了丰富的调查史料。这在历史地震中尚属首例。新中国成立后，李善邦先生（１９６）对这次地震首先进行了研究，１９６８年由于北京地下铁道建设的需要，时振梁、环文林对这次地震再次进行了详细的现场调查。分别确定了各点的地震烈度，并绘制了详细的等震线图。１９８３年版的中国地震目录，收录了该等震线图，１９９３年国家科委下达的８５－９０７＂十年尺度地震危险性预测研究＂项目又把这次地震列入重点研究项目，作者等人又对这次地震进行了全面的研究。本文利用这次地震现有的全部史料，考证研究了这次地震的烈度分布、震中位置、震中烈度、震级和人口伤亡等情况。并利用卫星遥感资料和该区的近期小地震精定位资料，讨论了这次地震的发震构造。

The Yuanming Park earthquake in 1730 was a considerable event occurred in the sububs of Beijing and one of Chinese historical earthquakes with the most wealthy data.These data are of great value to studing earthquake resistance and disaster preparedness in Beijing, seismosociology and historical earthquakes. This event has been investigated in detail by the goverment of Qing Dynasty and a wealth of investigation data has been kept, which was the first example in historical earthquakes.After the founding of New China, professor Li Shanbang (1960) studied this event for the first time, and Shi Zhenliang and Huan Wenlin(1968)made a detail investigation on the spot for demand of subway construction in Beijing, determined seismic intensity on every sites and drew detail isoseismic map which has been included into Earthquake Catalogue of China published in 1983. In 1993, as a priority item, the research on this event was listed into the 85-907 project,Research on Seismic Risk Evelua tion on Ten Year Scale issurred by State Scientific and Technological Committee,and the authors and others made again a comprehensive research on the event.This paper examined and studied the intensity distribution,the epicentral location and intensity,the magnitude and casualty of this event using all present historical data on this event, and discussed seismogenic structure of the earthauake using satellite remote sensing data and recent seismic location data of small events in this region.
