摘要
本文通过比较《红字》两个中译本对英汉两个民族不同的语言表达习惯、宗教信仰及历史背景等方面的处理,来探究文化差异对翻译的影响。
The paper analyzes the methods of reflecting different linguistic habits, religions and historical backgrounds between England and China in two Chinese versions of The Scarlet Letter so as to show the effect of cultural difference on translation.
