论民办高等教育与和谐社会建设

Community-run Higher Education and Construction of a Harmonious Society

文章指出和谐社会是科学和知识的社会。而科学和知识社会只有通过教育才能得以实现。从我国“穷国办大教育”的国情出发,和谐社会建设在很大程度上要依赖于民办高等教育健康、持续地发展。因为实践已经证明,我国民办高等教育在改善教育平等、缓解就业压力、提高就业能力等方面对和谐社会建设作出了巨大贡献。

The paper points out that the harmonious society is the society of science and knowledge which can only be realized by education, in the light of the concrete situation of the larger education by poor country, the construction of the harmonious society will largely depend on the healthy and sustained development of the community -run higher education as proven in the practice that such education in our country has contributed a lot to the improvement of equality in education, the lessening of employment pressure and the raising of employment ability, etc..
