近代来华传教士的男女平等思想及其影响

Missionaries and Spread of the Thought of Equality between Men and Women in Modern China

在近代中国,男女平等思想的最早输入在很大程度上是通过基督教会和传教士进行的。传教士对男女平等思想的介绍与传播,影响了一部分先进的知识分子,对妇女风俗的改良和妇女地位的提高也产生了一定的影响。但是,基督教并不能从根本上改变中国妇女的处境。

In modern China, early stage input of the thought of equality between men and women was achieved by the Christian church and missionaries in the most degree. The missionarie＇s propagation of the thought influenced a great number of progressive intellectuals and in a certain degree improved Chinese wonmen＇s status. But Christianity can＇t change Chinese women＇s conditions fundamentally.
