按照当代科学活动论的观点,可以将档案学理论研究分为三个部分:(1)档案学基础研究;(2)档案学应用研究;(3)档案学开发研究。在我国档案学理论研究的历史中,档案学理论研究和实践,两者相辅相成,互相促进,因在这两个方面都取得了令人瞩目的成绩。随着档案学实践对理论的要求更加全面,需要理论研究三个方面并重,因此,在不同的时期我国档案学的理论研究的重点必须正确调整。只有这样才是坚持辨证唯物认识论的表现,才能使档案学理论研究不断发展,不断创新。
