摘要
关系子句是英语中的一种常见的结构,K eenan和Com rie在大量实验研究的基础上发现,人们认识掌握关系子句总是遵循一个递进阶。本文通过对英语专业二年级学生关系子句习得情况的调查研究,以证实K eenan和Com rie所发现的递进阶在我国学生英语学习过程中的真实性,旨在通过对关系子句习得的研究,帮助我国英语师生更好地认识英语学习的规律性,以提高英语教学和英语学习的效率。
A common theme in SLA field is how L2 learners deal with the variation over which elements in the relative clause may be relativised. The Accessibility Hierarchy (AH) for relative clauses established by Keenan and Comrie treats this variation systematically. Based on a research, this paper tries to find out the truth of AH among grade two English majors of XISU (Xi'an International Studies University) in their acquisition of English relative clauses and the implications it may give to our English teaching and learning.
