道歉策略跨文化研究

On Intercultural Aplology Strategies

根据Elite Olshtain对道歉策略的分类,文章以调查问卷方式对中美两国大学生对道歉策略的使用进行了比较分析,发现两国学生在策略使用上有一定相似性。同时,由于受不同传统文化的影响,在某些道歉策略使用上存在较大差异,由此可以看出文化在跨文化交际中扮演的重要角色。

Based on a classification for apologies consisting of eight major strategies proposed by Elite Olshtain, this paper analyses how Chinese university students and American ones differ in apology strategies. This comparative study shows the similarities between both sides. Meanwhile, the traditional Chinese culture also influences the English expressions, which might be a cause for errors in cross - cultural communication.
