The method of having testing verification and design by using simulation software in electrical and electronic laboratory is introduced in this paper, which has brought about a fundamental turn on traditional testing method with solid wares. Apart from this, the author in the essay also explains the concept, characteristic, and composition of virtual instrument and discusses the software and solid ware platform used for studying and developing virtual instruments as well as their characteristics. The implementing situation and developing trend of virtual instrument in electrical and electronic laboratory are also given at the same time.
