Sinicization of Marxism: a Concept to be Further Studied

马克思主义中国化最早是由毛泽东同志提出来的,目的是为了反对“左”、右倾机会主义,反对教条主义地对待马克思主义的词句和盲目崇拜共产国际与苏联的经验,强调要按照中国的特点应用马克思主义与共产国际和苏联经验。这本来不仅无可厚非,而且具有革命意义。但后来毛泽东同志放弃了这一提法并改用别的提法替代了它。所以如此,很可能与他后来意识到这个提法不够科学、准确有关。毛泽东同志放弃这个提法改用别的提法的原因值得探究。马克思主义中国化的提法应当慎用。

The concept of ＂sinicization of Marxism＂ was first proposed by Mao Zedong against the opportunist and doctrinairist attitude towards Marxism and the blind copying of the experiences from the Communist International and the Soviet Union. Yet this term was given up and replaced, possibly because Mao Zedong had seen its weakness as a scientific conception with an accurate definition. Thus the term should be used with caution, since further studies are needed to find out why Mao Zedong had made this change.
