The Utilization of Biomass Resources in Desert Area

我国沙漠化地区面积约占国土面积的1/3,一方面,那里生态环境恶劣,经济发展相对落后;另一方面,经过长期严酷的自然选择,广大的沙区蕴藏着丰富的可开发利用价值高的生物质资源。因此,利用现代科技手段,合理开发沙区的可再生资源,对西部大开发和可持续发展具有重要的现实意义。本文综述了沙生草本植物、灌木以及藻类资源的研究开发现状。

The desert area occupied one third of Chinese land. On the one hand, there is atrocious environment and poor economy in the desert area; on the other hand, there are abundance utilizable biomass resources because of the rigor natural sdection. Therefore, utilization of the renewable resources of desert area with modem technology plays an important role in the exploitation and continuable development of the west China. The utilization of herbage, shrub and alga growing upon desert area was summarized.
