A Probe into the Prototypes of Shen Congwen's Works

“原型批评”家认为“艺术作品不是某个艺术家凭空创造,而是传统的产物。”沈从文和屈原都属于楚文化作家,沈从文在创作中受集体无意识的影响,必然和屈原的作品有着千丝万缕的联系。本文试图从《九歌》中探询翠翠们的身影。

Prototype critics argue that literary works are traditional products rather than empty creation by certain artist. Both Shen Congwen and Qu Yuan are writers of the Chu culture. The former is influenced in his writing by collective unconsciousness, so his works must have a sea of relations with those of the latter. This article is an attempt at describing the characters of such ladies as Cui Cui.
