中国的近代美术教育随中国的政治变革、文化的更新而产生。从发展史的角度看其意义:虽然从起步到发展的过程中历经坎坷,其不成熟的教育体系中也有许多缺憾,但是它为新中国成立后,中国的美术教育走向现代奠定了实践经验和理论基础。

The Chinese modern art education came along with the Chinese political reforms and the updating of culture. From the angle of the development history, although the Chinese modern art education did not start or develop smoothly and there were many imperfections in its immature education system, it laid foundations of practical experience and theory for the modernizing of the Chinese art education after the founding of New China.
