从连战、宋楚瑜大陆行看应用语言的魅力

On Applied Language's Charm by LIAN Zhan and SONG Chu-yu's Speech during Their Visits to China's Mainland

2005年“五.四”前后,中国国民党主席连战和亲民党主席宋楚瑜先后率团访问大陆。在参访大陆期间,两人多次发表讲话、致辞、演讲,引起世人极大关注。二人在各种场合的致辞,尤其在北大、清华的演讲,充分体现了应用语言的魅力。这种魅力可以归纳为三点:一是有真意,发真情;二是遣词准确,造语精当;三是分寸得体,张弛合度。

In May 2005, LIAN Zhang, chairman of Kuomintang, and SONG Chu-yu, Chairman of The People First Party, all leaded group to visit China's Mainland successively. During the visit, they made speeches, addresses and gave lectures over and over again, which caused the people＇s attention. These speeches, especially speeches in Peking University and Tsinghua University, perfectly show the charm of applied language. The charm can be concluded into three points as follow： the first is true feelings, the second is accurate words and phrases and the third is appropriate performance.
