Courtship and Mating Behaviors of Anourosorex squamipes

2005年春季对池内饲养的成体微尾鼩的发情行为进行了观察研究,结果表明微尾鼩交配期可持续3-5d,交配行为多发生在21∶00-01∶00时,每晚可交配10±2次.发情期雄体活跃雌体少动,发情行为主要分为绕嗅、咬颈、爬跨、交配等过程,其中咬颈行为存在于交配的全过程,对交配活动能否成功地完成起着重要作用.交配过程中雌体有逃避、攻击等反交配行为,但雄体却表现出强烈的交配欲望,二者对外来雄体表现出强烈的敌对性而对外来雌体的反应却十分冷淡,交配的持续时间与该次交配前的间隔休息时间无必然联系,而与雌体的反交配行为的强弱有很大关系.

In the spring of 2005, an experiment was conducted to study the mating behavior of Anourosorex squamipes. The results showed that：it could last 3 -5 days. The mating behavior happened between 21：00 -01：00 and it added up to 10 ± 2 times every night. The male was active and the female was inactive during the mating behavior. The mating behavior included turning and smelling, biting-neck, mounting, mating and so on. Biting-neck lasted from the begining to the end and it was very important for the mating behavior. The female would flee and attack during the mating activity. But the male showed an intense expection for mating. Both of them were opposed to another male and indifferent to another female. There were no relations between the interval and the duration of mating but the degree of the female＇s reacting had an abvious influence on the duration of the mating.
