A case study on inter-disciplinary personnel dual-degree program——Research of 2001-entry E-T majors at HUST

对华中科技大学英语-通信双学位专业2001级60多名学生的学习、就业等状况的调查研究表明,尽管在课程设置等方面还存在着有待改进的地方,但该培养模式是基本成功的,学生具有较高的专业素养和人文素质,在社会上的竞争力较强,颇受用人单位的欢迎。

This paper is based on investigation on the students＇ specialty both in English and Telecommunication and their condition of study and job-hunting. The rejust shows us that although there are problems, the nurturing mode is successful. The students have quality on both of professions and humanities. Thus, this kind of students are highly competitive and popular for the social institutes.
