How to Cultivate Students＇ Interests in learning Geography

良好的兴趣是学习的自觉动力，鼓励学生带着兴趣走进学习是构建地理课堂教学新方式的新起点。本文主要从运用地理小故事、运用趣味性的语言、运用所学地理知识解释身边的地理现象、运用讨论法、运用教具演示五个方面来探讨在地理教学中，如何培养学生学习地理的兴趣。

A good interest provides students＇ with spontaneous motivation to learn, so teachers should encourage them to learn with interests. It is the new beginning point to develop a new method to teach in geography class. This article has discussed ways to cultivate students＇ interests in learning geography during the teaching process from five aspects,which include teaching by using short geological stories and interesting languages, explaining geological phenomena around them, group discussion, and demonstration of geographical movements with teaching instruments.
