The development of modem school physical education demands that physical education teachers should be workers of physical education, transmitters of athletic knowledge, technique and skills, exploiters of manpower resources, doers of students＂ physical quality training, direetors of students＇ health, organizers and leaders of the whole students, linkmen between school and society and researchers in the reform and development in school physical education.
