Communications in northern Hebei were involved in Zhu Zhi Ci （ancient folk songs with love or local topics as their theme） of the Yuan Dynasty. The writers went along the Juyong Road ,taking account of what they saw and heard, which provides valuable information for the research into the history of communications, ecology and local customs, even the local culture of the Great Wall areas. For this reason, the literary value of Zhu Zhi Ci works has been exacted.
