作者把徐志摩放在整个新诗发展过程中进行分析,通过把他与同时代的其他新诗人进行比较,说明徐志摩与生俱来的诗人禀赋使他的诗成为中国新诗最初阶段的第一个高峰,进而深入分析其诗歌最明显的美学特征:轻柔感、音乐感、形式感。

Through comparing Xu Zhi - mo with his contemporaries in the whole development process of new poetry, the author states that Xu Zhi - mo＇ s poetry gift made him the first summit of the initial phase of new poetry and then analyzes the most distinct aesthetical features of his poems： the senses of gentleness and flexibility, charm and modality.
