This paper analyzes the advantages of nuclear power as the safe, clean and economic energy, and discusses the necessity and importance to develop nuclear power plants in Anhui Province. To speed up the provincial social and economic development it is imperative to make positive preparations and try to earn the nuclear power construction project early.
