古史年代学研究的误区——夏商周断代工程金文历谱问题分析

构建金文历谱以推求古史年代的方法,在目前对上古历法不能考明的情况下还不可行。夏商周断代工程依据少量铜器断代所建立的推定西周王年的支点多不可靠,为构建金文历谱所预设的西周历法要点也仍有待证明。工程列为标志性成果之一的共和以下历谱,由于不知共和原不单独纪年,可能问题最多,而由此上推共和以前年代亦必致多误。

The approach of constructing the calendar chronology of inscriptions on bronze to ascertain the chronology of the history of ancient China is still infeasible at present fro the reason that the calendar of ancient times is not clearly known to us. The points d＇appui, which have been deduced from the dates of a few bronze-wares and used to deduce the chronology of the Western Zhou Dynasty in the research studies of the Xia-Shang-Zhou Dynasties Division Project, are mostly not have well-founded. And the main points of the Western Zhou Dynasty presupposed for the purpose of constructing the calendar chronology of inscriptions on bronze still remain to he proved. The calendar chronology that follows Gong He period, listed as one of the representative outcomes of the Project, probably triggers the most problems for the reason that Gong He is actually not an appellation of king＇s reign. As a result, the deduction of the chronology prior to Gong He period will definitely be false.
