Applying a simply installed online viscometer, the terminating electric current value was determined using the orthogonal experimental method. The terminating point of the polycondensation of naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde was then precisely determined and high performance dispersing agent of naphthalenesulfonate was synthesized.
